Who this page is for
This page describes how haang at haang.app handles hosting privacy, who can see or join a plan, and what we do not verify. The product name is haang only; this is the official site for that app.
Hidden time, place, and description
For any plan—not only at home—the host can hide the exact time, location (pin or address), and/or description until they choose to reveal them. When location is hidden, people see approximate distance to the event—not a pin, address, or spot on the map. Details can unlock when the host accepts someone or automatically shortly before start.
Guide: Reveal location before start.
Home vs public place
- At a bar, park, or gym you can show the full address—or hide location, time, or description like any other plan.
- At your home hosts often hide the pin so browsers see approximate distance only until the real location is revealed.
Approvals and join modes
- Request / restricted join: The host approves each person before they are fully on the guest list.
- Interested vs Join: Interested means "maybe"; Join means you are going. Some plans require host approval first.
- Guest list limits: Hosts can cap how many people can come.
Age, gender, and who can see a plan
- Public plans can appear in Discover for eligible people nearby.
- Friends-only or invite-only plans stay off public Discover; you share with people you trust or via a private link.
- Age and gender rules: Hosts can restrict a plan to certain age and gender groups (where the product supports it). People who do not match may not see the plan in Discover and/or may not be able to join.
Guides: Invite-only apartment party, Audience rules example.
What haang does not verify
haang does not background-check users or confirm that hosts set visibility, hidden time/place/description, or age and gender rules correctly. No app can guarantee perfect safety in person—use your judgment when you meet people.
